Breast cancer is a type of cancer that originates in the breast cells. Genetic changes in the DNA of the healthy breast cells can lead to the formation of cancer cells which grow uncontrollably and form tumors. This type of cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women but can also affect men.

October is breast cancer awareness month. It is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness, educating people about the symptoms, promoting early detection, and supporting those affected by this disease.
