Overview
Meester-Loeys syndrome (MRLS) is an X-linked connective-tissue disorder characterised by thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection. Other recurrent findings include hypertelorism, pectus deformity, joint hypermobility, contractures, and mild skeletal dysplasia. Female heterozygous carriers often present with milder non-cardiovascular manifestations.
