Neurofibromatosis-Noonan syndrome
Synonyms: NF1, NFNS
Overview
Approximately 12% of individuals with Neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1) exhibit an NF1-Noonan syndrome phenotype (NF1-Noonan syndrome (NFNS)) characterised by Noonan-like dysmorphic features including characteristic facial dysmorphism, pulmonic stenosis, pectus anomalies, and short stature. This overlapping phenotype is genetically heterogeneous, resulting from either NF1 variants alone or concomitant NF1 and PTPN11 variants.
