ONCOLOGY

Oncology panels for predictive and diagnostic testing for hereditary and somatic cancers

SELECT THE RIGHT TEST FOR YOU

In oncology, genetics distinguishes between hereditary (e.g., familial breast or
colon carcinoma) and sporadically acquired tumor diseases (e.g., sporadic
breast or colon cancer). Of importance is the accumulation of genetic and
epigenetic changes that lead to the development of a cell population with
malignant properties. Known characteristic genetic alterations, such as
translocations, amplifications or deletions, are helpful for the molecular
classification of tumors, as well as for the early detection of recurrences.
We offer solutions for both hereditary and sporadic cancers with the goal of
identifying the variant responsible for a current or future (predictive) cancer.
